Chris is a graduate of the UC Davis School of Law. He is licensed to practice in the state of New York. He has been in private practice since 2002. He is formerly a visiting professor of law at UC Davis, where he was the supervising attorney for the King Hall Immigration Detention project. Before practicing immigration law, he trained expert witnesses with a firm in Massachusetts. He earned a BA in Comparative Area Studies from Duke University in 1993, and lived and studied in Moscow before entering law school. He now lives in Marin County, CA, with his wife, three daughters, and dog. |
Jennifer's law practice is independent of the Law Office of Christopher Todd, but the two offices often collaborate. She is a graduate of Bates College and the UC Davis School of Law. She is licensed to practice in California. She practices criminal appellate law at the state and federal level. In addition to her appellate practice, she also works with the Law Office of Christopher Todd to pursue post-conviction relief for immigrants who have suffered convictions in California courts.
Jennifer has a long history of advocacy for the underrepresented. Prior to her current practice, she worked in South Africa for electoral reform, interned in state and county public defenders' offices, and and participated in the ongoing development of international trade prohibitions against commercial trafficking in endangered species. |
